STUCCO WALL AND CONCRETE REPAIR
You may need stucco wall repair or stucco crack repair if the settling cracks in your wall have not been addressed and caulked properly If the stucco on your exterior walls are bulging or if you have damage due to home settling and severe weather, we can repair the stucco wall for you. We tare out the old stucco remove and replace the lathe and any rotten wood underneath. After installing the new lathe we apply the first layer of concrete stucco, then apply a smooth second layer, and lastly apply the stucco texture to match existing. The fresh concrete stucco will need special concrete hot stucco primer before top coat of paint is applied.
Work Process
Steps 1: Arrival
We arrive at the job site as scheduled and ensure your projects will run smoothly.
Steps 2: Surface Inspection
We inspect and identify damaged areas to your home or building, and make an assessment of the work needed on stucco walls. Often we have to install layer of concrete around footer of house to stop water leaking thru foundation.
Steps 3: Repair and Installation
We repair cracks and apply new stucco which sometime involves replacing the substrate metal mesh(lath) and wood.
Steps 4: Texture Matching and Finishing
We match existing texture by using texture machines. Small areas we texture by hand trowel.
Steps 5: Detailed Smoothing and Finishing
After concrete repair has cured we apply a hot stucco primer and top coat finish, making the repair blend into existing wall.
Steps 6: Final Cleanup and Client Walkthrough
After repair is completed, we clean the project areas, removing plastic, tape and debris. We take the time to walk with you and do a final inspection and a overview look of the final project to ensure your total satisfaction of our work.
